3 Great All-in-One Printers 2015
Back in the day you had to spend hundreds of dollars to get a decent color printer, not to mention a few hundred dollars more for a scanner, and then even more to get a fax machine. Fortunately, today there are devices that print, scan, copy and even fax for under $200.!
With all the models out there, all seeming to have similar specs – which do you choose? We’ve rounded up a list of the best all-in-one printers out there – weighing in on performance, output, quality, features and value. Here you go:
Canon Pixma MX922
This affordably priced model doesn’t skimp on the most important features – you can print, copy, scan and fax all in one. It also allows for the ability to print on both sides of a page – this feature is commonly called “duplexing” – which in the end saves you money on paper and also helps the environment. Another great feature is its automatic document feeder that allows you to place multi-page documents on the tray and it will then automatically scan each page.
The MX922 is Wi-Fi enabled, so if you’ve got a wireless router in your home, you can connect to your Wi-Fi network and print from anywhere within range. This multi-function printer also supports AirPrint, so if you’re an Apple user – you’ll be able to print from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. For Android users, they can download Cannon’s free app and print from their mobile devices as well.
HP OfficeJet Pro 8610
This all-in-one can print up to 30,000 pages per month. The HP Office Jet 8610 blends wireless convenience, high quality printing and industrial-level durability. With the ability to print 19 black and white documents per minute, it’s got one of the best speed ratings among the inkjet printers we’re mentioning.
This printer also has automatic duplexing, allowing for easy double-sided printing that again saves you in paper costs. The automatic document feeder allows you to feed multiple pages into the paper tray and then automatically feeds the pages into the scanner which helps make the process more efficient.
Wi-Fi enabled, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 is AirPrint compatible. It’s a great model because it combines the convenience of a home-printer size with office-printer durability.
Canon Pixma MX472
This multifunction printer features fax functionality as well as an automatic document feeder. It has excellent color print resolution, outputting high-quality photos especially when specialty photo paper is used. It prints, scans, copies and faxes. The only downside is that it has slower print speeds – making it better suited for a home office or small business office. At its price point though, it’s a great option for those looking for an all-in-one machine for their home.
